Natasha Baker - Artist
Natasha is a self-taught artist who works from her home studio in the scenic Mundaring hills of Perth, Western Australia, surrounded by trees and wildlife. Natasha has always been passionate about nature and her artwork is inspired by the animals and natural beauty around her. She finds joy in her art and in her menagerie of pets, and most especially her beloved muse ‘Velvet’, her little black cat. “Every girl should have a little black cat!”
Natasha works in a variety of mediums and styles, both realistic and abstract. She is endlessly inspired by all the colour and light of the natural world, the plants, the animals, from the magnificent and powerful to the tiny and shy, and by the glorious hues of the sea, sky, and landscapes. “There is such grace upon this earth.. I strive to capture and express some small part of all it's beauty and to bring simply joy to those who choose to hang my work upon their walls”.
